Tales
Of A Drama Queen (Red Dress Ink) Book review by Tracey I wasn’t sure what style to expect, having never read this author before, but I was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed the cutesy light tone of the story and I’m always a sucker for the MORAL. Published in 2004, this book follows the antics of one Elle Medina who has split from her successful boyfriend and now has to make a living for herself. The problem is that she is 26-years-old and has never had to do anything for herself except spend other people’s money. She works different jobs, has to acquire transportation and housing within a budget, and generally try to act like a grownup with the limited success of an unassisted teenager. The story is filled with humor despite Elles’ many mishaps and she learns along the way. I’m just glad I got this part over with in my teens! Tracey. Search our site:
